In the picture alongside, I’m doing two of my favorite things—spending quality time with my grandson, Kevin, and pheasant hunting. I also love to golf and fish. All of my favorite activities require rigorous physical ability. Thankfully I’m able to do all of them—now.
Several months ago I could barely baby sit my two grandchildren, let alone participate in any of their playtime fun. I couldn’t golf, fish, or hunt—all because of severe lower back pain accompanied by a sciatic right leg pain. These problems culminated in extreme back spasms one night that loft me flat on the floor unable to move or walk for more than 30 minutes. The next day my physician prescribed a combination of painkillers and muscle relaxants that cured the spasms in three days but the back and Leg pain continued. The doctor then prescribed a month of physical therapy treatment at least twice a week. At the end of the month my back and leg pain seemed even worse. I quit the physical therapy.
I have suffered from a lower vertebrae problem most of my life, and was treated as a teenager by a chiropractor that only caused the problem to worsen. My parents took me to the Children’s Shriner Medical Center in San Francisco. Back braces were prescribed and vigorous exercise programs were ordered. After a year things got better, but I have had painful relapses periodically ever since. This last one, several months ago, seemed like the one that was going to finally debilitate me permanently.
I had just about given up hope when I met Dr. Kimberly at the Golf Expo this year. Having already had a very bad chiropractic experience in my past, I was the ultimate skeptic. But, Dr. Kimberly’s confidence won me over to give it a try.
Now, three months Eater, as the picture indicates, I am fully active and nearly completely pain free. I play golf 2-3 times a week, wrestle with my grandchildren, hunt and fish anytime and anywhere I want—including big game in rugged terrain.
I am willing to admit it when I’m wrong—and I was wrong about chiropractic treatment. As I’ve told Dr. Kimberly, I’ve gone from super skeptic to enthusiastic advocate.
In the hands of a supremely competent doctor of chiropractic, such as Dr. Kimberly, many peoples’ physical problems related to the spine and muscle systems can be alleviated or even cured. I’m living proof of it. Donald
About four years ago, I started to experience some very unappealing problems that were really starting to affect the everyday hustle and bustle of my life. My problems ranged from tingling and numbness in my feet to neck and shoulder pain and to make it even worse, migraines! After a couple of months, I began to notice that I was having a hard time sleeping, I was constantly fatigued, I never wanted to do anything, and, quite frankly, there was just no more zip in my life! So I decided to do something about it. I went to the doctor. I told her all of my problems and I was given some medication. It helped all right, but only for a couple of hours. At that point, I knew that there had to be another solution.., and luckily I stumbled upon it when I underwent a bone density test given by Dr. Kim. She asked me to come in for an exam and I agreed; I really had nothing to lose.
My first adjustment was given and before I knew it, my life was changing! The tingling and numbness utterly disappeared; I could sleep a whole night through, and even better, NO MORE MIGRAINES! Needless to say, the zip is back in my life thanks to Drs. Nels and Kim! If you want the zip back in your life you are at the right place! Jennifer
